What Happens After I Buy A Playset?

You’ve done your research, you’ve assessed what will best fit your family, and you have decided what swing set is the perfect fit. Now it’s time to work out the logistics so your family can start making memories on your backyard playset!

Financing Your Swing Set

The first, and often most asked question, is how do I finance this purchase. That is a great question. We offer a variety of financing options to make it simple to make the dream of having your very own playset a reality. We accept all major credit cards, check, and cash. We also use Synchrony Financial to provide financing options. We have 6-month and 12-month interest-free plans as well as a 36-month low interest (9.9%) plan.

If you choose the financing option, we are able to help you apply right in the store. We typically have an approval response within just a few minutes. This Rainbow Visa credit card is exclusive to our store and you can use it to purchase add-on accessories in the future.

Installing Your Swing Set

Once financing is in order, it’s time to install the play set! We begin by scheduling a time for our team to come install your play set for you. This typically happens within two weeks of purchase. As long as your lawn is fairly level, the only thing we’ll need you to do is plan out where you’d like the playset to be in your yard. Keep in mind that you’ll want a 3-6 foot safety zone on all four sides.

On the day of the installation, we’ll need about 4 hours to complete the install. We’d like you to be there when we arrive to show us where in your lawn you’d like us to install your play set and direct us to the nearest power outlet. Also, because our playsets are modular, we’d like to discuss exactly how you’d like your swing set laid out. Once we have your direction and access to power, we’ll get to work and you can carry on with your day as normal.

How level does my yard have to be?

Very few people have a perfectly level yard, but our sets are self-leveling and can accommodate the majority of yards in Central Minnesota. Bring a picture if you are unsure and our sales team will tell you if it will work or not.

Maintaining Your Swing Set

Your playset can be maintained much like a deck or any outdoor wood structure. You should plan to stain and seal every 3-5 years. In Minnesota, with our extreme temperatures, your hardware may come a little loose so every 3-5 years you’ll want to tighten your hardware.

What’s the warranty? We have a lifetime warranty on wood, slides, hardware, and swing hangers and five years on accessories. If you have any issues within your warranty time period, it is covered and handled through the factory. Registering your play set shortly after you make the purchase makes this process a breeze!

Adding on to Your Swing Set

With our modular swing sets, they are designed to grow with your family! We have so many options and accessories that the sky really is the limit when it comes to customizing the perfect play set for your family. The installation and financing work the same for adding on as it did for the initial swing set. Come on in and we’ll show you all of the options!
